My Pronuts Recipe — Protein Donuts
Craving something simple, sweet (but not too sweet) and packed full with protein? Then you’re in the right place! Let me introduce you to one of my favorite recipes — PRONUTS! They’re basically protein donuts, but ‘pronuts’ sounds a lot more fun!
Every once and a while my sweet-tooth hits, and while it’s always nice to indulge… sometimes I want a healthy option, that’s where these pronuts come in. They’re super easy to make (only a handful of ingredients) and really do taste amazing!
- 2/3 cup IsaLean protein powder (You can use any flavor!)
- 2 tbsp applesauce
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 eggs
- Mix and pour in donut trays
(Makes 6 full-size donuts)
Put in your oven @325 for 15-20 minutes
GREEK YOGURT with half scoop of vanilla IsaPro protein powder
Other sprinkle options: MELT isaDelights drizzle over (OMG!), dip in coconut flakes, or sprinkle over one of my fav healthy spices from beruna.
If you don’t have a donut tray, a muffin tin could work too! Then of course, they’d be protein muffins… pro-ffins..? Either way, they’re delicious!
